Inverness Women’s Aid has been supporting women, children & young people experiencing domestic abuse
in Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch & Strathspey since 1978.
COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS
During these challenging times with the ongoing Covid-19 Coronavirus situation, we are continuing to support women and families experiencing domestic abuse. However we are having to some changes to the way we work. Our support team will be supporting existing and new clients through phone, text, email and video messaging. Our supported accommodation is still available to those who need it.

PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING COVID-19, WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT DONATIONS OF CLOTHING, TOYS OR HOUSEHOLD ITEMS.

DUTY OF CANDOUR
All health and social care services in Scotland have a Duty of Candour. This is a legal requirement which means that when things go wrong and mistakes happen, the people affected understand what has happened, receive an apology, and that organisations learn how to improve for the future.
